1.Yup.. M using Java Universe Only to submit the job.

2.Ya the jobs works fine in Machine 1 and Machine 3(Outside shell with java and javac commands).Machine 2 i haven tried yet as it a submit only machine.

3.Condor_status -java lists both the machines ie Machine 1 and Machine 3(I checked it personally when i had a doubt. Incase u need the output i will be able to send it a day later.I don have access to the machiens imm.

Re below, are you using the java universe to submit?

Does your java program run ok outside of Condor (i.e. run by hand from the shell) on machine 1 and 2?

Send us your submit file and the output from "condor_status -java", that'd help.
