We are using condor to among other manage a cluster of linux-computers
used for Finite Element Analysis (mainly MSC.Marc and MSC.Dytran).
The submitting computers are all running Windows XP. The queue
management works fine but we have one problem. The FE jobs might last
for several days each, and if the submitting computers condor master
is restarted then the condor job at the running linux computer is
restarted as well. Is it possible to let the job continue even if the
submitting condor_master is stopped/restarted, and if, How?
Best regards
