[Condor-users] condor_status............issues

I remember i wrote about this prob before.....still i am not able to
understand this thing.....when condor is installed, according to the
manual section

2.3.1 Inspecting Machine ClassAds with condor_status

when i issue condor_status i should see summary of information about
the ClassAds regardng the recources in the pool..............but when
i do a condor_status i don't see any output on the screen and i see
the prompt coming again......
