Well you can also find it in the NegotiatorLog. Here is one such
entry in mine:
5/25 21:37:10 ---------- Started Negotiation Cycle ----------
5/25 21:37:10 Phase 1: Obtaining ads from collector ...
5/25 21:37:10 Getting all public ads ...
5/25 21:37:10 Sorting 58 ads ...
5/25 21:37:10 Getting startd private ads ...
5/25 21:37:10 Got ads: 58 public and 40 private
5/25 21:37:10 Public ads include 1 submitter, 40 startd
5/25 21:37:10 Phase 2: Performing accounting ...
5/25 21:37:10 Phase 3: Sorting submitter ads by priority ...
5/25 21:37:11 Phase 4.1: Negotiating with schedds ...
5/25 21:37:11 Negotiating with cms0140@xxxxxxx at <192.168.0.2:35257>
5/25 21:37:11 0 seconds so far
5/25 21:37:11 Request 04841.00000:
5/25 21:37:11 Matched 4841.0 cms0140@xxxxxxx <192.168.0.2:35257>
preempting none <192.168.0.64:32780> vm1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
5/25 21:37:11 Successfully matched with vm1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
5/25 21:37:11 Got NO_MORE_JOBS; done negotiating
5/25 21:37:11 ---------- Finished Negotiation Cycle ----------
The "boson0000.hep.int" is one of my compute nodes and "vm1" is one of its
four CPUs, so I know that job number 4841 ran (or is running) on
boson0000.
I suggested Matchlog first because it is a lot cleaner. For instance the
MatchLog entry for the above job is just a single (wrapped) line:
5/25 21:37:11 Matched 4841.0 cms0140@xxxxxxx <192.168.0.2:35257>
preempting none <192.168.0.64:32780> vm1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It is strange that yours is empty. I wonder if it is because my submitter
is running Condor-G?

Bill S.
