would like to put whole picture of what i have done......so that u can give a CLEAN HELPi have with me two windows xp boxes and a two red hat boxes......the hostnames are1. 10.237.226.77(ip) - perfcoewxp4(hostname)
2. 10.237.226.91 - perfcoewxp5
3. 10.237.226.83 - perfcoelnx3
4. 10.237.226.84 – perfcoelnx4
I tried to create a pool. I have taken perfcoelnx3 as the manager and installed condor using condor-install. I went through all the steps and got the message that its installed and then i executed condor_master to run the deamons.....that is where i am and i sawcondor 7021 7020 0 13:08 ? 00:00:05 condor_startd -f
>condor 7022 7020 0 13:08 ? 00:00:00 condor_schedd -fthese two processes running on perfcoelnx3. then i changed the daemon list in the condor_config.local in home/condor/ to DAEMON_LIST = MASTER, STARTD, SCHEDD,NEGOTIATOR,COLLECTOR and as todd said i gave a condor_restart also....but still i see the same process....I have not done condor_reconfig....i jus have changed the demon lisst and gave a restart....do i have do a reconfig and restart again??Also what about the other machines.....do i have to install condor on them also....My aim is to make perfcoelnx3 as the manager,exec,submit and rest of the three machines as exec,submit......I think i have given a clear picture of where i am ....need some help and clarification.......thankspartha
