[Condor-users] can't make machine dedicated

Hi,

 

I am trying to set up a Windows XP cluster containing a central manager and 2 dedicated machines for running MPI jobs. I have copied the etc/condor_config.local.dedicated.resource example to my condor_config.local file (and appropriately modified the name of the scheduling machine and run policy) on both the machines that are to be dedicated resources.

 

"condor_status -l" shows that one dedicated machine is "claimed" by the dedicated scheduler, but the other dedicated machine is "unclaimed". The set up on both dedicated machines should be identical. Does anyone have any ideas how I could troubleshoot the problem?
