- Subject: [Condor-users] permission denied error
Hello,
I have installed Condor 6.8.2 on (so far) one machine. It is
configured as central-manager and the appropriate daemons are
running:
condor 28735 0.0 2.0 6880 2636 ? Ss 16:22 0:00
/home/condor/condor/sbin/condor_master
condor 28736 0.0 2.4 7064 3060 ? Ss 16:22 0:00
condor_collector -f
condor 28737 2.5 2.7 7876 3500 ? Ss 16:22 0:08
condor_startd -f
condor 28738 0.0 2.8 8280 3600 ? Ss 16:22 0:00
condor_schedd -f
condor 28742 0.0 2.3 6992 2940 ? Ss 16:22 0:00
condor_negotiator -f
When I run condor_status I get no output. I also see "Permission
denied" errors in the collector log.
I have set HOSTALLOW_WRITE = * and HOSTALLOW_READ = * as suggested in
the FAQ, but the problem persists.
Can someone suggest what I need to check next?
Thanks,
Roger
