I see. Well, it's a pity, as I was hoping to integrate it with another software which also uses SSL certificates for authentication. I guess I can always restrict read permissions and possibly store the
certificate in an encrypted filesystem.

I have heard indeed of the GSI proxy certs, but I'm sort of tied up to Windows. It'd be really nice if
something similar were done for SSL authentication.
