If not, this line seems to be an error. 127.0.0.0/8 is reserved for local host communication. IP routing routine will choose loopback as the outgoing interface. So, we may not reach the collector...
It may be an error in some sense, but it seems to be the default configuration in recent Debian and Ubuntu versions.
And indeed, the collector does not report any contact from these machines in its logs.
