- Subject: [Condor-users] Condor and VMWare
Hi All
I run a windows xp condor pool. I have VMplayer installed and a Suse Linux
image with condor installed ready to go. I can send a windows condor job to a
given physical machine and get it to fire up the virtual machine (I know this
because a number of log files are created in the vm's folder), however the
virtual machine dies for some reason - I think it might be due to the fact that
GUI output is redirected by condor - or it's a problem with vmplayer. I thought
I would ask here first to see if anybody else has found a solution to this
problem. I want to be able to support multiple virtual machines on a physical
machine to support a number of my users with requirements involving custom vm's
for their applications.
Thanks in advance
James
