I work with Fabrice, who initially posted this problem - permission denied to unknown user from host.... Our DNS also seems okay - names resolve both ways from the submitting node and from the master. However, there are two other features which may help diagnose what is wrong. 1. Each node has 5 processes running, instead of 5 on the master and 3 on the nodes. 2. When I submit a single job, it does not run. When I submit 3 or more identical jobs, they all run. Thanks, Simon ________________________________ From: condor-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of DeVoil, Peter Sent: Fri 10/11/2006 6:07 p.m. To: Condor-Users Mail List Subject: Re: [Condor-users] PERMISSION DENIED to unknown user from hostandconnection to astro.cs.wisc.edu > Here's my bet: Your DNS (or equivalent) isn't set up properly.
