I get literally nothing when I run condor_status.  And I set the 
condor_config variable to point to /usr/local/condor/condor_config as my 
normal user account (mhaney).

In order for me to get the condor_config.local file read by my user I 
had to change permissions on the /home/condor directory to 755, the 
permissions on the file were file, but not the directory.
