How about announcing a new variable in the startd's conf file on
execution machines:
InRange = TRUE
and then adding:
STARTD_EXPRS = $(STARTD_EXPRS), InRange
on the startd, and then, add in the requirements:
Requirements = (InRange == TRUE)
