Hi,
I m currently trying to use the Condor Web Services client supplied by
IBM. I ve got a personal installation of Condor for testing and I
ve got
the client to query the Collector, get the Sched address and then
create
a cluster, however the job I submit is never ran.
When I run the client: java wsTest --> the following output is
generated:
[nharmston@psbik12 gr-development]$ java wsTest
query collector for the schedd address, please be patient ...
http://128.243.186.210:53572 // this is the correct Schedd address
Submitting job: ClusterId=6 JobId=0
Failed to submit successfully
Exception in thread "main" JobSubmissionException: Failed to submit
successfully
at WebServicesHelper.submitJobHelper(WebServicesHelper.java:
116)
at WebServicesHelper.submitJobHelper(WebServicesHelper.java:
256)
at wsTest.main(wsTest.java:52)
So the job hasnt been submitted properly but condor_q shows an
unexpanded job with no attributes.
[nharmston@psbik12 condor-6.8.0]$ condor_q
-- Submitter: psbik12.* : <128.243.186.210:53572> : psbik12.*
ID OWNER SUBMITTED RUN_TIME ST PRI SIZE CMD
--- ???? ---
1 jobs; 0 idle, 0 running, 0 held, 1 unexpanded
I ve checked the logs:
SchedLog:
8/25 10:59:04 (pid:7882) Job has no JobStatus attribute. Ignoring...
says this, is this why my jobs are not running properly (and if not
any
ideas why?) and if so how can I give the jobs I submit via SOAP a
JobStatus attribute?
Many, many thanks in advance,
Nathan
