hello, anyone has experience with condor submitting PVM jobs on
windows? Does Condor support the PVM on Windows? Thanks in advance!
The 'PVM Universe' definitely does not work on Windows (Unix only)
--- the PVM universe in Condor does a of stuff other than just
schedule and launch a pvm job, it extends PVM itself to assist in a
opportunistic environment.
However, the 'parallel universe' does work on Windows --- and off the
top of my head, I cannot think of any reason why you could not use
the parallel universe to launch "regular" pvm jobs.
