[Condor-users] condor_q does not show the correct status of job

Dear Condor experts,
while using condor I have found that many times "condor_q" shows that
a job is running , even though this job has finished successfully.
since I submit my jobs through DAGMan based scripts , because of this
problem, condor gets stuck , since the  next job assumes that the parent
job has finished successfully. anyhow has anyone had this problem before?
is there a solution ?
some details from condor_v show :
$CondorVersion: 6.6.1 Feb  5 2004 $
$CondorPlatform: I386-LINUX-RH72 $
