My (implicit) understanding as a speaker who has agreed (or at least not (yet) objected!)
to his slides being made available is:

* The slides can be viewed, printed off and shown to your colleagues freely

* The slides could be incorporated into other presentations directly, properly
  credited to original writer, but (at least for the first time you use them)
  the original author's permission should be sought

* The slides should not be exploited for commercial gain in any shape or form

Having said that, I'd be pleased (and a little surprised) if anyone wanted to
reuse any of my slides.
