[Condor-users] Carrying on jobs from where they left off?

Hi,
Somewhere down the line I've either got confused about some of the
definitions, or mis-configured something...

If I kick off a long job which takes longer than the available time
the cluster is up for, the job restarts from the beginning again when
the cluster becomes available.

The question is - should I enable checkpointing to get round that, or
have I just missed/messed-up something in the configuration?
