Dear nithin
Iam toby from
India . Iam also working in condor. iam working in linux and Iam using the
condor version 6.6.8. I have setup central manager for the pool .It is perfectly
working . But the thing is that I have added two more machines to my pool
. The processes running in that machines are condor_master,condor_schedd,
condor_startd. .So that means it is possible to submit jobs on that
machines and can run.. But while submitting jobs I found that some times one
error is coming
ERROR: failed
to transfer executable file loop.remote..
some times
one warning like can't create log file like errors are coming
Can u suggest any solution for this..
waiting for your reply
thanks
toby

Subject: Re: [Condor-users] Problem in
joining more than one system in samepool
Hi Subhasis,
Each host, before it can join the pool,
need to have a local configuration file present with the list of daemons
defined under hosts directory. You may want to run condor_init that shall
create all required directories and then define DAEMON_LIST in
condor_config.local file for master, scheduler and
startd.
Cheers,
Nitin
