First, note that condor_q -analyze doesn't tell you anything  
meaningful for grid universe jobs that aren't using matchmaking (i.e.  
if you specify the globusscheduler in the submit file).

So far, nothing seems wrong with your second submission. Condor-G  
submitted the job to the remote Condor pool via Globus, and it hasn't  
run yet. To figure out why it's not running, you need to look in the  
queue on advaitha. There, you can use condor_q -analyze, since the  
job is vanilla universe.
