Hi,
Yes. We run Condor 6.6.1 at the Uni of Essex, part of campus domain.
Most machines are XP, and a linux central manager. I must admit the
whole pool is not working at the moment, but this is a separate issue
(XP service pack 2), I think.

The @CENTRAL gets added automatically as condor detects that this
machine is a part of a domain (and thus can't just be 'dropped'). I
take it you aren't logging in to a domain box?
