As suggested somewhere on this list, using the dynamically linked version solved my problems.

I created a Debian-Package based on the Debian/stable-Packages from Andreas Hirczy. I've created a repository for the package, put the following line into /etc/apt/sources.list to use it:

deb http://www.rz.uni-karlsruhe.de/~ry121/debian/ condor/
