The 7.7.2 branch has been created -- you know the drill:

Anything for 7.7.3 and beyond goes to master.  Any bug fixes for 7.7.2 
go to the branch with the wrangler's blessing.  Any 7.6 changes go to 
7.6 with permission and code review, thence to 7.7.2 branch thence to 
master.
