For those of you not in on the fw meetings, here's the plan for 7.7.3
and 7.7.4:
7.7.3 will be branched as soon as the async file xfer work has been code
reviewed, probably tomorrow. Immediately after 7.7.3 is branched, 7.7.4
will be branched from 7.7.3 with the sole addition of the ipv6 phase III
code. (This phase support ipv4 by default, but by turning three knobs
and signing a waiver, a site can run in an ipv6 only mode. This phase
does not support mixed ipv6 and ipv4 networks). We will build both
branches simultaneously, but focus our testing efforts on 7.7.4. Due to
worries about the stability of the ipv6 code, we want to have a "back
pocket" release with all the other 7.7 branch goodness ready to go,
should 7.7.4 falter in the field.
