I went out of town and then when I got back I forgot about it (sorry, I
only care about the qual this month.)
Some thoughts:
1. Many daemons have the FILESQL object in them, it's all libc code and
doesn't need to know anything about externals (at least, in principle it
doesn't.) I'd probably change the schedd to always declare prevLHF, or
disable the FILESQL code in all of the daemons.
2. One of the schedd.V7 developers will have to respond, but I am pretty sure
it needs libquill.a
Who is going to ultimately apply this patch? Neither I or Jiansheng am
going to (not because we don't like it, but because there's a paper deadline
and a qual coming up. Ask us in mid September :)
