right.  the binaries are there.  the initial version of the manual is  
online.  we were supposed to have the release fully completed  
wednesday, but our release "wrangler" decided to call it a day well  
before all the tasks were completed.  so, a few lingering things  
remain to be done before it's "official".  namely: fixing up some  
HTML junk on our web site, getting the european download mirrors  
updated, and sending the announcement to condor-{users|world}, etc.

feel free!  we'd love to get your feedback.  hopefully there are no  
show-stopper bugs that managed to sneak past our testing... ;)
