| Subject: | [Gems-users] about the running of multiple concurrent applications |
|
Hi, I am Sheng. I want to know whether the GMES simulator can support the running of multiple applications concurrently. In particular, considering about the following example. Assume there is a 64-core many-core computing platform which is organized as a 8x8 mesh network.
I want to arrange 4 PARSEC applications to run on this platform concurrently, and each application will only need to use 16 cores which is organized as a 4x4 region. I think that if these four applications are independent, then their performance should be the same as the each one running on a 4x4 computing platform.
However, I want to investigate the interference among them, so I need them to run concurrently. If somebody knows how to make the simulator support this scenario, would you please give me some hints?
Thank you very much!
