[Gems-users] exact execution time and power

Hello, everyone
     
    I'm wondering how to get the accurate exact execution time and power of applications. How can I start ruby just at the points when the application starts and when the application finishes running?
    I use GEMS2.1.1 with Simics 3.0.31.

     Would anyone give me a hand? Thanks a lot!
