[Gems-users] MESI_CMP_directory protocol - assertion failure

Hi,

I am trying to run ruby only with the MESI_CMP_directory protocol. After I load ruby into simics, when I try to run ruby0.init, I get the following assertion
failure: 
failed assertion 'network_num < m_virtual_networks' at fn void SimpleNetwork::checkNetworkAllocation(NodeID, bool, int) in network/simple/SimpleNetwork.C:203

I have 8 processors in simics checkpoint, and I am setting ruby configuration as follows:
g_PROCS_PER_CHIP: 4 (in rubyconfig.defaults)
ruby0.setparam g_NUM_PROCESSORS 8 (in cli)

These are the only configuration options I am setting, along with some modifications in the cache-size, which should not be relevant for this error.

Please let me know if you can shed any light on why this is happening.
