| Subject: | [Gems-users] Memory layout |
Hi, I am using the MOESI_SMP_directory protocol with 16 processors using a 2D-MESH topology. So, this means SIMICS creates 16 chips and 1 procs/chip, also 16 memories. Some quick questions for clarification: Does this mean that this is a ccNUMA system? How is the directory stored in this scheme? How will this affect the performance of the protocol? Regards, Ed |
