[Gems-users] Tranasactional memory guys : How can i Find thread id

Hi Dan Gibson/Polina:  Hope everyone doing good.

          I need to find thread id, but right now i do not know at all how to attack this problem

  

          

            

            My task is to monitor how often thread migrates from one core to another and gather statistics for each thread(such as pages,# of inst executed,# of transaction completed,etc)

 

I am using Opal.Actually what they do they set some breakpoints on Virtual address after thread id written to some register(they are using %O1 global reg) .They use thread id to gather statistics and count thread migration.

 

How can i get thread ids ?

How can i get Virtual addresses to set breakpoints? 

I think i do need to modify benchmarks.

Any bit of information will be highly appreciated
