[Gems-users] decrementRefCount <0 error in opal

Hello All
I am getting a strange error in opal:

ASSERT_FAILURE_CYCLE[ 304912938 ]
simics-common: system/statici.h:218: void static_inst_t::decrementRefCount(): Assertion `(m_ref_count >= 0)' failed.
Abort (SIGABRT) in main thread
The simulation state has been corrupted. Simulation cannot continue.
Please restart Simics.

Would anyone kindly give some hint, regarding how this error can be addressed or when it occurs. Any help would be of great value.
