| Subject: | [Gems-users] script to collect trace file |
|
I want to finish the following experiments, I am wondering is there a place for me to learn how to write script to ease the simulation part. I have about 20 programs, I want to run two of them on a simulated two core system and record their memory traces. What I need to do is: start two of the programs in the simulator let the simulator run 1 billion instructions to warm up caches pause the simulator initialize tracer and ruby model run 1 million instructions to record trace end the simulation of the two program and start next pair. Is it possible to write a script to let simics do it automatically? Any help is appreciated. Thanks -- Yunlian |
