I used GCC 3.4.6 and any other GCC didn’t work well for me.

 

You might want to try 3.4.6.

Hi

After following the quick start guide, I've got an error.

simics> load-module ruby
Error loading module 'ruby': Failed to load module 'ruby' ('/home/chungdna/gems/gems-2.1/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/lib/ruby.so'): "undefined symbol: _ZNSs4_Rep20_S_empty_rep_storageE"


I am using simics 3.0.31 (I also tried with 3.0.30) and gems 2.1.
I compiled with gcc version 3.4.0, 3.2.3 and 4.1.2. There was no error during the compile. 
But when I tried to load ruby.so by using "load-module", I got an error. 
Same message occurs when I try to load opal. 

I didn't have the problem while I was using GEMS with simics 2.2.

Is this error related to libstdc++? 
What should I do to solve the problem?
