 you reinstall the OS,maybe the hostid have been changed already,you can get a  new another licience from simics,

The OS of linux machine which I have been using for GEMS was recently reinstalled.

 

Before running my work folder of GeMS which has my license file, I accidently ran my friend’s folder. It somehow got set and whenever I am trying to run my GEMS work space which has my license file, it is showing below message.
