[Gems-users] cannot load ruby

Hello,
i followed all the steps from wiki-page (for my version of simics), but when i 
got to loading ruby i get this: 

simics> Error loading module 'ruby': Module 'ruby' not found

i did list-modules and it does not appear there, it does not appear in the 
failed modules either.
 
There was a similar problem before, but it does not help me:

My target is x86-enterprise and i am using gems-1.1 with simics-2.2, i know 
that they are older versions, but i needed the patch for x86. I do 
have /modules/ in $GEMS/simics/home/<DESTINATION>, but /lib/ appears not 
linked.... (and i do have a checkpoint i am using).

any ideas how i can fix this?
