I don't believe you'll be very happy with binaries, because chances are
good that you'll want to insert your own Simics MAGIC instructions to
trigger statistics collection, etc. I think you'll just have to fight
your way through the compiler issues -- I've never had much trouble
figuring out how to get Splash to compile. (The exception to that rule
is for the graphics-oriented benchmarks, like volrend.)
