We use GCC 3.4.x and Simics 2.2.x here in the Multifacet project.
We know that GEMS works with Simics 3.x and I believe it can work with GCC
4.x, but the combinations are a conundrum that was haven't had time to
crack.
I'd be curious to know if others use a combination of Simics 3.x and GCC
4.x successfully.
