[Gems-users] gcc compiler version for transactional memory benchmark

Hi,
I recently installed GEMS2.0 and tried to run the transactional memory  
benchmark (deque.c). It showed some errors when compiling  
transaction.c in the common directory. I used an old version of gcc  
(3.x) in solaris 10. Does anyone know which version of gcc works best  
to compile the benchmark?
