[Gems-users] error on building ruby

hi all:
     i want to install gems on my machie(ubuntu6.06,gcc-4.0.3).when i
compiled ruby following the wiki document, i got such errors as below:

make[1]: Leaving directory

 so how can i fix it?thank you!
