| Subject: | [Gems-users] Failed to load Ruby GCC 4.2.0 |
Hi!
After following the quick start guide, I get an error
Error loading module 'ruby': Failed to load module 'ruby' ('/scratch/SimicsGems/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/lib/ruby.so'): "version `GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6)"
This is similar to posts:

https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/archive/gems-users/2006-October/msg00003.shtml
But there does not seem to be a solution. I was wondering how people use GCC 3.4.x with gems. Unfortunately, I am at a school computer and cannot update to GCC 4.2.0. What are my options?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Brianna
