Correct, as I said we use directly MAGIC BREAKPOINT. We also load ruby and dump the stats in different breakpoints.Since you know where the program will stop you can do everything sequentially in the same script, the first time it stops you can load ruby and resume the simulation, the second time you dump the stats, etc. It is not the most elegant way to do it but it is the only way we could find to make it work.
