Hello,

I can say I was experiencing similar problems, and unfortunately I found 
no (logical) solution. The only thing I managed by testing is that I get 
no "undefined symbol: ruby_session_set" when I compile my ruby module 
with g++ 4.0.3. Ruby works with that :) I think it can be some compiler 
issues, but don't know what exactly.
