[Gems-users] Tourmaline Update

gems-users,

A bug was discovered in the Tourmaline module distributed with GEMS 1.1. 
The "Generic" transaction controller was incurring (far) too many 
aborts. An updated version of GenericController.C is available in the 
GEMS distribute directory:
http://www.cs.wisc.edu/gems/distribute/

This bug affects *only* the Tourmaline module. Ruby and Opal are 
unaffected. You may ignore this message if you do not use the Tourmaline 
module for functional simulation of transactional memory.
