| Subject: | [Gems-users] Simulations |
|
Hello, I would like to make sure I understand the following correctly. - If I'm working on memory hierarchy and coherence protocols, I should modify the source code and do simulations under simics ($GEMS/simics/home/MODIFIED_PROTOCOL/simics), right? Is it possible to do full system simulation in this case? If so, what operating system is simulated? - For what type of simulations should I use simics under sarek ($GEMS/simics/home/sarek/simics)? Thank you for your time.
