On a personal note, I know that this year is more complicated than many
of the previous years. We're facing unnecesary chaos and that has left
many of us uncertain and, in some cases, in difficult circumstances.
The Tools Workshop, besides being a great technical forum, has always
been a community. I count many of you as good friends and look forward
to having this chance for us to all be together in a great environment,
focus on technical problems that motivate us, and just get to relax
together. It has also been a wonderful place for young researchers to
learn and develop.
I'm hoping that, in spite of the current craziness in the world, we can
take this time in this safe bubble to be productive, supportive, and
relaxed.
I certainly understand if circumstances prevent you from attending. However,
I am hoping that we can transcend the current circumstances and bring
ourselves together and shed a little light into the current times.
Feel free to reach out to me or John if you have any concerns, questions,
or need support in some way.
all the best,
