Subject: | [DynInst_API:] Question about unstrip |
Hi all,
I am trying to use unstrip to analyze 32-bit binaries. I tried both x86 and amd64 versions of unstrip, but they all raised error saying that: emitElf.C[1538]: elf_update failed: 0, Request error: can't manipulate null section.
For amd64 unstrip, I run on Debian 7 Linux 3.2.0.4_amd64. For x86 unstrip, I run on Debian 6.0.6 Linux 2.6.32-5_686. I also tried on Ubuntu 12.04. I was wondering the reason for the problem and how I should fix to make it run. Alternatively, can I have a known version of OS that is compatible with the latest unstrip?
Thank you! Best Regards, Tiffany
