The University of Wisconsin, with the Mortgridge Institute of Research (on the UW campus),
University of Indiana, and University of Illinois, recently received a $24 million grant
from the Department of Homeland Security to help assess the security of open source software.

Not only we will be developing some new technologies, but we will be standing up a new center
for analysis tool writers to make their tools available and software systems and middleware
developers to have their software assessed under a continual assessment process (to go along
with their development process).

We are hiring fulltime staff at all degree levels (MS or PhD preferred, but BS/BA with
experience should also apply). Certainly people with security experience are encouraged
to apply, but we can use anyone with solid systems programming experience and train them.
(This is a great chance to train into the booming computer security field; guaranteed job
security for the next few decades.)

The job listings can be found at:

    http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/WebListing/Unclassified/PVLSummary.aspx?pvl_num=74180

And more jobs available at the Mortgridge Institute and our partner universities.

If you know someone who might be interested in these positions, please feel free to pass
this notice along.
