ap2002 downtime for maintenance TOMORROW, 10-noon

Dear CHTC Users,

This message is for users of the High Throughput Computing (HTC) cluster who log into ap2002.chtc.wisc.edu. 

The ap2002 server will undergo maintenance TOMORROW, Wednesday Sept. 3, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Madison time). 

If you are an ap2002 user, during this time:

• You will not be able to log in.
• You will not be able to access your /home directory.
• Your running jobs will be interrupted (but remain in the queue).
• Your idle jobs in the queue will not start.

This maintenance is to address the recent performance issues with the ap2002 server.

We will post updates about the maintenance to the status page here: status.chtc.wisc.edu/incidents/2md43fcxdz5p.
