Bioinformatics Café

Discovery Building, Orchard View Room

Join the Café, a monthly space for life science researchers to connect, learn, and work alongside CHTC facilitators and peers. Whether you want to tackle a tricky bioinformatics problem, get hands-on help with CHTC/OSPool workflows, or simply co-work on your project in a collaborative environment, the Bioinformatics Café is the perfect place to make progress and meet fellow researchers. Our next session will include a hands-on tutorial on how to deploy Minimap2 on CHTC to map reads to a reference genome. Register through the link on the event page. 

"Get Started with Throughput Computing" Workshop

This will be a hands-on workshop where researchers will practice how to transfer data, submit jobs, and debug simple job errors on CHTC’s High Throughput Computing system. We recommend this to users who have HTC accounts and want some help getting started. Register through the link on the event page; make sure you have an account on CHTC's HTC system before attending.
